How it works

Case from Warsaw
Client in Targówek: Bosch cooktop stopped after a thunderstorm — indicators were on, but the burners stayed cold. On site we found a blown triac on the power module — a voltage spike had damaged the semiconductor. We changed the triac and a protection varistor that had failed too. All burners back working. It was a component-level repair, much cheaper than fitting a new board. The job took around 1.5 hours. Tip: if your area gets power surges, install a varistor or surge protector on the cooktop’s circuit.
