Washing Machine Heating Element Replacement in Warsaw

Washing machine only washes in cold water, laundry comes out dirty, or the machine shows a heating error? The heating element heats water to the programmed temperature. Limescale from hard water is the element’s main enemy — it coats the surface, the element overheats and burns out. We replace washer heating elements on site across Warsaw.

How it works

  1. You describe — cold water only, error, dirty laundry on 60°C.
  2. Technician identifies model.
  3. Disconnect, partially drain water.
  4. Remove rear panel (element usually at back bottom).
  5. Test with multimeter — open circuit or ground fault.
  6. Undo nut, extract old element, clean seat of limescale.
  7. Fit new element, check seal. Test — water heats.

Mistakes

  • Wrong wattage or length element.
  • Not checking NTC sensor — built into element on many models.
  • Not cleaning the seat — new element won’t seat or leaks.
  • No descaling — new element scales up in 2–3 years.

Case from Warsaw

Client in Praga-Północ: Samsung — trips breaker on 60°C. Element had ground fault (insulation breakdown), 5mm of limescale. Replaced element with NTC (Samsung all-in-one). Cleaned drum of loose scale. Test at 90°C — breaker holds, water heats. 45 minutes. Tip: use descaler every 2–3 months to extend element life.
