How much does it cost and what affects the price
The price is based on the camera type (Wi-Fi or PoE), where it will be fitted (indoors or outdoors), how difficult the cable route is, and how many cameras are being installed. A basic indoor Wi-Fi camera can be fitted fast. An external camera with cabling run along the facade takes more work. The final cost also depends on the mounting method (wall, ceiling, canopy), whether drilling is needed, and how recording is arranged (NVR or cloud). Mounting hardware is included. How the installation works
- You send over a photo of the installation spot and the camera model — the technician checks the scope of work.
- We arrange a time — often the same day or the next.
- At the property, the technician picks the best viewing angle and fixing point.
- Holes are drilled, the bracket is mounted, and the camera is secured.
- For PoE cameras — an Ethernet cable is run to the router or NVR. For Wi-Fi — the camera is connected to the wireless network.
- The app is set up on the client’s phone (Hikvision, Dahua, TP-Link, Imou, Reolink).
- The image is tested: viewing angle, night-mode performance, and the motion-detection area.
Common installation mistakes
- Installing the camera too high — faces cannot be identified, and only the tops of heads are visible.
- Aiming the camera toward the sun — the image is overexposed during the day and blinded by reflected IR at night.
- Putting a Wi-Fi camera too far from the router without a repeater — the video freezes or cuts out.
- Using an outdoor camera without IP66 rating — moisture appears inside after a few months.
- Skipping detection-zone setup — the camera sends notifications for every passing car or bird.

A real case from Warsaw
