Security camera installation (1 pc)

A camera by the door, on the balcony, in the garage or over the driveway lets you see who is there and record events while nobody is home. Installing one camera covers choosing the spot, fixing it, powering it and linking it to an app or recorder.

The price is per camera. Long power cables and drilling through outside walls are charged separately.

What the installation covers

• choosing the position and viewing angle;
• fixing the bracket to the wall or ceiling;
• running power or a network cable;
• connecting to Wi-Fi, the app or a recorder;
• setting up motion detection and checking the picture by day and night.

Privacy and rules

The camera should cover your own space: the door, balcony or driveway. Recording the stairwell, neighbours’ windows or the pavement may intrude on their privacy. In blocks of flats, fitting cameras on shared parts needs the building manager’s consent.

What to prepare

The camera with its power supply and bracket, the Wi-Fi password and the manufacturer’s app on your smartphone. Give the mounting position and the distance to the nearest socket in the request, with a photo.
