A wavy ceiling stands out more than uneven walls — light from a pendant lamp shows every hump, every board joint, every crack. In Warsaw’s concrete-panel blocks — especially in Mokotów and Wola — ceiling slabs often come together with a 3–5 mm offset. In newer buildings, settlement cracks show up quite often. All of that is sorted with filler and sanding before painting.

Up-to-date prices are listed in the table below. The final amount depends on the ceiling size, how many defects there are, and how badly the surface is out of level. If the ceiling is reasonably even with just a few cracks — one layer of finishing filler will do. If the steps are more than 5 mm, base filler is needed, plus jointing tape over the seams, and two to three coats with sanding. Tools and sandpaper are included. Filler compound is charged as a consumable.

A one-bedroom flat in a 1970s block in Targówek. The ceiling panels had visible seams and fine cracks along every joint. The owner was preparing to sell and needed the ceilings to look neat. Our technician opened up the cracks, taped the joints, used base filler on the seams and applied a finishing coat over the full 22 m². Sanding, priming and two coats of paint took a day and a half. Later, the buyer said the ceilings looked as if they had been re-plastered — in fact, it was just careful filling and sanding. A small spend that helped get the sale done.
No — the whole job is done at height. The technician brings their own ladder or trestles.
Filler for ceilings has to be lighter and thinner — a thick layer will not stay up. It goes on in several thin passes.
2–4 hours between coats. Full drying before painting — at least 12 hours.
Whitewash has to be removed fully. Filler will not stick to a whitewashed surface.
First, fix the source of the leak. Let the ceiling dry out properly. Then use a stain-blocking primer before filling.
Yes, but we use moisture-resistant filler and primer.

Ceiling levelling is done by experienced plasterer-painters. We work across all of Warsaw. Call or message — we’ll check the ceiling and tell you what scope of work is needed.
