- He checks that everything is there — all parts and hardware. If something is missing, he tells you immediately.
- Assembly is done exactly by the IKEA instructions — no improvising, no cutting corners.
- Everything is levelled, doors and drawers are aligned, and stability is checked.
- The packaging is collected and the work area is left tidy.
Common mistakes when assembling IKEA furniture yourself
- Skipping the contents check before you start — halfway through, you realise a part is missing. Then you are off to IKEA in Targowek or placing an online order and waiting.

- For bathroom or kitchen furniture — confirm whether plumbing or electrical connections will be needed.

- Send access details: intercom code, floor number, lift availability (especially for heavy boxes).

A real case from Warsaw
A client in the Ursynow district booked assembly of a PAX wardrobe system — three sections, 250 cm wide, with sliding doors.
