Washing Machine Water Inlet Valve Replacement in Warsaw

Is your washer not taking in water, filling very slowly, or letting water into the drum even when it’s turned off? The inlet valve is an electrically controlled tap that opens when the control board tells it to. If the diaphragm is worn out or the coil has burned out, the valve may stop opening or stop shutting properly. We replace inlet valves on site all over Warsaw.

Cost

The part itself is cheap. Prices are in the table. Valve billed separately.

How it works

  1. You explain the issue — no water coming in, nonstop filling, error.
  2. The technician checks the model.
  3. Shut off water, unplug the machine.
  4. Take off the top cover — the valve sits at the rear top with the supply hose connected.
  5. Check the coil with a multimeter — it should show 2–4 kΩ.
  6. Remove hoses and connector, install the new valve.
  7. Turn the water back on, test — fast fill, no drips, stops after filling.

Mistakes

  • Skipping the tap check — it might simply be shut.
  • Mixing it up with a blocked inlet mesh filter.
  • Missing constant filling — risk of flooding.
  • Ordering a valve with the wrong number of sections (single/double/triple).
  • Not testing the wiring from the board to the valve.

Preparation

  • Unplug the machine.
  • Access to the rear top.
  • Towel — some water will come out when hoses are disconnected.

Case from Warsaw

Customer in Ochota: LG — did not fill, showing IE error. Tap was open, water pressure was good. The valve coil was burned out (open circuit). We replaced the double valve. Test — fills in 3 minutes, no leaks. 30 minutes. Tip: if the washer does not fill, first check the tap and clean the inlet mesh — that fixes 20% of cases at no cost.
