How it works
- You explain the issue — no water coming in, nonstop filling, error.
- The technician checks the model.
- Shut off water, unplug the machine.
- Take off the top cover — the valve sits at the rear top with the supply hose connected.
- Check the coil with a multimeter — it should show 2–4 kΩ.
- Remove hoses and connector, install the new valve.
- Turn the water back on, test — fast fill, no drips, stops after filling.
Mistakes
- Skipping the tap check — it might simply be shut.
- Mixing it up with a blocked inlet mesh filter.
- Missing constant filling — risk of flooding.
- Ordering a valve with the wrong number of sections (single/double/triple).
- Not testing the wiring from the board to the valve.
