What jobs a painter gets across Poland
- painting flats and rooms
- skim-coating and filling
- priming, crack repair
- post-tenant and post-renovation painting
- jobs for companies and HOAs
Painting jobs: walls, ceilings and prep
Clients mostly book walls and ceilings in one colour, a refresh before letting a flat, or a room in several colours. Priming, filling plug holes and washing the walls come with almost every job. The floor area and photos in the request let you price an offer without a site visit.
Besides rollers and brushes, you need dust sheets and masking tape for floors and furniture, a sander with dust extraction and a work light to check the wall at a low angle. Offers do better when they say how many coats you allow for and who buys the paint.
Painter jobs: price ranges from the catalogue
This is what clients pay for the most common jobs in this trade. You set the amount in your offer yourself; the ranges help you price it right.
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Walls and ceilings, one colour (2 coats) | 30–50 zł/m² |
| Priming before painting | 8–14 zł/m² |
| Walls in different colours | 40–60 zł/m² |
| Filling holes and damage | 20–35 zł/m² |
| Gypsum skim coating | 55–90 zł/m² |
| Wall cleaning before painting | 15–25 zł/m² |

Painter jobs across Poland: common questions
How do I measure for painting?
By the area of the walls and ceiling, not the floor. If the client only gave the size of the flat, ask about ceiling height or request photos.
Who buys the paint?
It varies. Clients often already have a colour and brand in mind. If you buy it, list the cost of paint and materials separately in your offer.
What does it cost?
Signing up and sending offers are free. When a client picks you, a commission on the contract amount comes off your HandyCoin Account: from 20% on smaller jobs down to 5% on the largest. The client pays you for the work itself.
Can I combine it with another job?
Yes. You decide how many jobs to take and when to work.
What is the cooperation model?
Everyone here works for themselves. Many start with unregistered activity (działalność nierejestrowana) while their turnover stays within the limit, then open a JDG or a company once the work grows. You choose your business form and handle your own accounting, so there is no need to adapt to us.
