Washing Machine Shock Absorber Replacement in Warsaw

Is your washer shaking hard, hopping during spin, thumping, or creeping across the floor? Shock absorbers are there to calm drum movement. Once they wear out, the drum starts swinging loose and knocks into the cabinet. That’s more than just noise — vibration ruins bearings and can tear up hoses and wiring. We change absorbers on site anywhere in Warsaw — around an hour of work.

Cost

They are always changed in pairs. Prices are in the table. Parts are billed separately.

How it works

  1. You explain the problem — vibration, jumping, banging during spin.
  2. The technician checks the model.
  3. Disconnect the machine, remove the front or rear panel.
  4. Inspect the absorbers — press them by hand. No resistance = worn out.
  5. Take out both (fixed to the base and drum).
  6. Install a new pair.
  7. Run a test at 1000+ rpm spin — vibration should be minimal.

Mistakes

  • Changing just one.
  • Mixing it up with an unleveled machine.
  • Keep washing with heavy vibration — destroys bearings.
  • Skipping a check of the suspension springs.
  • Leaving transit bolts in place (new machine).

Preparation

  • Washer model.
  • Say what happens: vibration, jumping, and when.
  • Unplug it.
  • Access from the front.
  • Towel.
  • Photo of the model.
  • Level? (rock it by hand)

Case from Warsaw

Client in Ursynów: Bosch was jumping at 1200 rpm — shifting 10 cm each cycle. Both absorbers had no resistance at all — the oil had leaked out. We replaced the pair. Test at 1400 — barely any vibration, machine stays put. 50 min. Tip: if your washer suddenly starts jumping, check the absorbers first instead of putting a rubber mat underneath.
