Handyman Hourly Rate in Warsaw — Non-Standard and Custom Tasks
Not every job in your flat fits nicely into a fixed price list. Putting up an unusual shelf, assembling furniture with no instructions, fixing something to a ceiling, modifying a part — these jobs don’t sit in standard categories. That’s what hourly booking is for. You pay for the technician’s time, not for a set line item. We work across all of Warsaw — from Ursynow to Bielany.

When it makes sense to book a handyman by the hour

- You’ve got several small jobs — it’s проще to book a handyman for 2–3 hours and sort everything out in one visit.
- The job is non-standard: something needs adjusting, modifying, or custom mounting — there’s no ready price in the catalogue.
- You’re not sure about the scope — the technician checks it on site and works according to what’s actually needed.
- You need help with unloading, moving furniture around, or getting the place ready for renovation.
- It’s a custom task: adapting a bracket for a specific wall, non-standard fitting, installing custom parts.
- You want to stay on site and keep an eye on the process — the technician works while you’re there.
- Small repairs after moving in: adjusting hinges, replacing handles, installing a curtain rail.
Call or send us a message — describe the job and we’ll estimate how much time it should take.
Common mistakes when booking a handyman by the hour

- Not explaining the job in advance — the technician turns up without the right tools.
- Thinking a “small thing” will take 15 minutes when in fact it takes an hour. Better to leave some extra time.
- Buying fixings yourself but choosing the wrong size or type — time gets wasted on replacements.
- Not clearing the work area — paid time goes on prep instead of the actual job.
- Putting together a list of 10 tasks but not setting priorities — if time runs out, the important jobs may stay unfinished.
- Trying to find a “does everything” handyman for a specialist job (gas, electrical panels) — those need licensed professionals.
How to prepare for the technician’s visit

- Write a task list — from the most important to the least urgent.
- Take photos of the work areas and send them to the technician beforehand.
- Remove items from the access area — shelves, cabinets, walls.
- If special materials are needed — agree in advance what needs to be bought.
- Make sure there’s access to a power socket for tools.
- Send the intercom code and parking details.
- If there are many jobs — be ready for the possibility that a second visit will be needed.
- Check that all required parts and components are already on site.
Real case: Zoliborz district

A client booked a handyman for 3 hours after moving into a new flat in Zoliborz. The task list: hang three pictures on concrete walls, mount a kitchen rail (on tiles), assemble an IKEA shelf unit without instructions (lost), tighten hinges on two cabinets, and replace a door handle. The technician came with a hammer drill, screwdriver set, and basic fixings. The pictures were hung on anchor hooks, the rail was fixed through tiles without chipping them, and the shelf unit was assembled using photos found online. Everything took 2 hours 40 minutes. The client saved money by booking one handyman for all tasks instead of calling someone separately for each job.
