Below we go in order: what a renovation includes, the sequence it is done in, which prices are in the price list and which only come in a tradesperson’s bid. The figures are indicative ranges from the HandyMan24 price list (Warsaw). Rates elsewhere may differ, but the list of jobs is the same anywhere.
Bathroom renovation cost in 2026: ranges from the price list

Some prices you can check right away. The table covers finishing work and fixtures, so everything that goes into a bathroom after the tiles, plus levelling the walls before them.
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Wall levelling after tile removal | 60–90 zł/m² |
| Wall-hung toilet installation (frame) | 450–700 zł |
| Bathtub installation | 400–900 zł |
| Shower cabin installation | 350–1200 zł |
| Linear drain installation | 400–900 zł |
| Washbasin installation | 200–500 zł |
| Towel radiator installation | 300–600 zł |
| Re-sealing shower and bathtub | 250–600 zł |
Indicative prices. Ranges for a typical scope. Fixings included, materials separate. Minimum order 300 zł.
A few reference points. Levelling walls after tile removal runs from 45 to 70 zł/m². Fitting a wall-hung toilet on a frame: from 350 to 600 zł. A linear drain instead of a shower tray: from 800 to 1500 zł. Silicone around the bath and enclosure is charged per running metre, from 35 to 60 zł/mb. Full ranges for each item are in the table above, and that is the one to trust, because the price list changes.
Say the old tiles come off, two walls get levelled, the toilet goes on a frame, and an enclosure, basin and towel radiator go in, finished with silicone. From the price list you can work out the wall area and each fixture. Tiling, demolition and waterproofing come in the tiler’s bid, and materials are bought separately. There is no honest single figure “per bathroom”. For the frame itself, see our piece on fitting a wall-hung toilet.
Bathroom renovation step by step: from demolition to silicone

The order of work affects the price. Do something too early and you pay to take it apart and do it again.
- Demolition. The old bath, basin and toilet come out and the tiles are stripped. Only then can you see the state of the walls.
- Plumbing and wiring inside the walls, if anything moves. That happens before tiling, not after.
- The WC frame. It goes in before the boxing-in and tiles, then disappears into the wall.
- Wall levelling. After tiles come off a wall is rarely straight, and a crooked wall means crooked grout lines.
- Waterproofing in the shower zone and around the bath, on walls and floor, before any adhesive.
- Tiling and grouting. The longest stage, and the one that decides how the room looks.
- Fixtures: toilet pan, bath or enclosure, basin, taps, towel radiator.
- Silicone where the bath, enclosure and tiles meet. Last of all, once everything is in place.
Ventilation is a separate matter. The grille and the duct belong to the building, and in a block of flats nobody rebuilds them for one bathroom. An extractor fan has no line of its own in the price list. If it needs wiring in, an electrician prices it in his bid.
Turn the water off before demolition, and leave any electrical work in the bathroom to a qualified electrician. Water and electricity in one small room are no place for trial and error.
Tiling, demolition and waterproofing: the tradesperson quotes these

Tiling is usually the biggest share of labour in a bathroom, and it is exactly what the table leaves out. Prices for laying tiles, stripping old ones and waterproofing come in the bid, after the tradesperson has seen photos.
The rate per square metre depends on tile size, cuts and 45° corners, niches, a floor drain or a tiled shower tray. Small tiles on a straight wall and large-format tiles in a shower are two different jobs with the same name.
For an accurate bid, put this in the order:
- room dimensions and how high the tiles go;
- tile size, if you have chosen them;
- whether the shower has a tray or a floor drain;
- photos of the walls before or after stripping, close up and from a distance.
What you actually pay for with tiling is broken down in Bathroom tiling: what you really pay for.
What the price leaves out, and what the platform does not do

Price list rates cover labour. Small fixings such as plugs and screws are included. Tiles, adhesive, grout, waterproofing products, the WC frame and all the ceramics are materials you pay for separately. Rubble removal and carrying materials in are extra too, and stripping a bathroom makes plenty of rubble.
And here is what the platform does not offer, so nothing catches you out:
- A turnkey renovation with one contractor, a site manager and one estimate for everything. Each job is priced by whoever will do it.
- Running new pipes inside walls. Connecting to existing points, yes; rebuilding the system, no.
- Floor screeds, machine plastering and bathroom design projects.
If your bathroom needs the drain moved or a sloped screed, plan that with a building or plumbing firm before anything else. Wall levelling, tiling and fixtures can be ordered separately afterwards.
How to order a bathroom renovation and compare prices

In the app you describe the job in your own words: show photos, give the address, write a few lines. The app asks about anything missing and builds the list of jobs itself. You do not enter a budget; tradespeople name the price.
- Tradespeople bid on each job separately, with their own price, timing and a message.
- You compare bids by price, rating and reviews. The profile shows what has been verified for each tradesperson.
- You pick one person per job. One can do the tiling, another the fixtures.
- Until you choose, you talk in the app chat; contact details and the exact address open only after you choose.
- You pay the tradesperson directly, and he issues the invoice.
Whoever did the work answers for it. He redoes his own fitting; crooked walls, old pipes and someone else’s mistakes are not on him. That is why photos from before demolition are worth adding from the start.
The app takes orders from anywhere in Poland. If you live in the capital, see how a bathroom renovation in Warsaw works.
Common questions
How much does a small bathroom renovation cost?
There is no single figure, because it is a sum of separate jobs. Work out the wall area to level and the fixtures from the table, then add the tiler’s bid and materials. A small bathroom has fewer square metres, but the same WC frame and taps.
Why are tiling prices not in the price list?
Because the rate depends on tile size, cuts, drains and niches. A tradesperson quotes it in the bid after seeing photos and dimensions. The same goes for stripping tiles and waterproofing.
Can one tradesperson do the whole bathroom?
He can take several jobs if he bids on them. There is no turnkey renovation with a site manager and one estimate on the platform: you choose each job separately.
Are materials included in the price?
No. Small fixings are included. Tiles, products, ceramics and taps are on you, and rubble removal and carrying materials in are charged separately.
Can I order a bathroom renovation outside Warsaw?
Yes, we take orders from anywhere in Poland. The jobs and their order described here are the same everywhere.
Got photos of the bathroom? Describe the renovation in the app and tradespeople will send their prices for each job. You decide who does the tiling and who fits the fixtures.
