Finding work across Poland: common questions

What does it cost?

Signing up and sending offers are free. When a client picks you, a commission on the contract amount comes off your HandyCoin Account: from 20% on smaller jobs down to 5% on the largest. The client pays you for the work itself.

Do I have to confirm my identity?

Not to start with. Without it you can have at most 2 active contracts at once and you don’t see urgent jobs. Once confirmed, those limits go and a commission bonus lands in your account.

How soon will I get jobs?

You can send offers as soon as your profile is filled in. How many jobs you see depends on your trades and area.

Can I combine it with another job?

Yes. You decide how many jobs to take and when to work.

I am not from Warsaw. Can I join?

Yes. You pick your city when you sign up and see the jobs from there. Most jobs are in Warsaw and the surrounding area for now, and in other cities there may be few at first.

What is the cooperation model?

Everyone here works for themselves. Many start with unregistered activity (działalność nierejestrowana) while their turnover stays within the limit, then open a JDG or a company once the work grows. You choose your business form and handle your own accounting, so there is no need to adapt to us.
