How do I get more jobs?
In short Complete your profile, choose your categories and area well, write specific offers and keep an eye on your balance. A higher place on the list can't be bought.
What helps most is a solid profile and a specific offer. The order on the list doesn’t depend on them, since nobody can buy a higher position. What the client does is look at the price, rating, number of reviews and verification level, and compare them for themselves.
What to check in your profile
- Categories and area of operation. You only see jobs from the categories and area you’ve set. Too narrow, and there’ll be few jobs. Too wide, and you’ll be driving to places where it doesn’t pay.
- Verification level. At the “Identity not checked” level you don’t see urgent jobs, and the client sees that label next to your offer.
- Qualifications. If you have any that can be checked in a register, add them. The client will see the badge.
What to do day to day
- Respond to jobs you’ll actually take. Not sending an offer costs nothing, but a contract you cancel because you took on too much counts as a violation.
- Write for the specific job, not one stock message for all of them.
- Keep an eye on your HandyCoin Account balance. When it doesn’t cover the commission, the offer gets the “Inactive” status and the client can’t accept it.
- Look after your regular clients. A happy client can order you again with one button.
