The work was done badly. What can I do?
In short Before confirming, open a dispute. After confirming, file a complaint and the conversation with the professional reopens. You paid the professional, so the money does not go through the platform.
When the professional finishes, they mark the contract as “Done”. From then on you have 7 days to confirm or report a problem. If you do nothing, the contract confirms itself. We’ll remind you before the deadline.
Before confirming: a dispute
You open it on the contract: pick a reason, describe what’s wrong, add photos. Our staff member reviews the case. They look at the messages in the app, the “before” and “after” photos the professional takes, and both sides’ explanations. You both see the reasons for the decision. Disagree with it? Challenge it through “Help”.
The decision covers what is in the platform’s hands: the contract status and the professional’s commission. It does not decide who owes whom, or how much.
After confirming: a complaint
A completed contract has a “File a complaint” button. You can also write through “Help”. The conversation with the professional opens again, you both get a notification straight away, and our staff member sees the case. Automatic confirmation alone does not take away your right to complain.
What about the money?
You paid the professional directly, so a complaint moves no money through the platform. Your rights against the professional come from the law, above all the statutory liability for defects (rękojmia) in the work under the Kodeks cywilny (Polish Civil Code). The platform does not limit them.
If the professional doesn’t run a business, consumer rights law does not cover them, but the Civil Code does. Every offer shows whether the professional has declared that they are an entrepreneur.
