The professional is proposing a change of scope. What now?
In short You accept the proposal or reject it. The price doesn't change without your consent, and rejecting is not a violation.
It’s your call. When it turns out on site that there’s more or less work, the professional proposes a change on the platform. You accept or reject it.
Worth knowing
- The contract price doesn’t change without your consent.
- Rejecting a proposal is not a violation and doesn’t affect your account.
- When the scope shrinks, the contract amount doesn’t fall below the minimum call-out, 300 zł.
So let “I’ll just do this bit as well” go through the platform, not only by word of mouth: until you accept the proposal, the price from the offer applies.
When the price goes up every time
A one-off change of scope is normal. A pattern of frequent proposals to raise the amount above the offer, though, counts as a violation on the professional’s side. If you feel that’s happening, report it through “Help”. A staff member will look into it.
