How is a professional’s rating calculated?
In short It's a plain average of all reviews, shown from 3 reviews onwards. Before that, the profile shows the label “New pro”.
We show the average once a professional has at least 3 reviews. Before that, the profile shows the label “New pro”.
How it’s counted
- All reviews carry the same weight. We don’t boost newer ones or drop the lowest.
- The rating as a professional and the rating as a client are two separate numbers.
- Reviews from training jobs aren’t included in the average.
- A new account doesn’t reset the rating. If we establish that it belongs to the same person, the review history moves to it.
- If the author deletes their account, their review stays in the average, just without their name.
Can a professional remove a bad review?
No. We don’t hide a review because it’s negative, and we don’t make any arrangements about it. A review disappears only if the author hides it or a staff member finds a breach of the rules: personal data or offensive content, forcing proven by the conversation, a fake job, or a review about a different contract.
The professional can reply to a review publicly once. They can’t edit your review.
