Who meets the professional if I’m not there?
In short Someone you name in the job: a neighbour, a family member, a building manager. You give their first name and phone number, and only the chosen professional sees them.
With every job you name the person who will meet the professional on site: first name and phone number. It can be you or someone else, for example a neighbour.
Before you enter someone else’s details
By giving another person’s details, you confirm that they agreed and that you told them about the Privacy Policy. The simplest way is to ask them beforehand and mention that the professional will call them.
Who sees these details
- Only the professional you choose for this job.
- Only until the contract ends. Once the contract is “Confirmed” or “Cancelled”, the phone number disappears from view.
- Other professionals who sent offers don’t see them at all.
You can save this person’s details in your contact book to use them for later jobs. They can object: all it takes is a message to us, and we’ll delete their details from your book.
