What does “Identity confirmed” mean?
In short That the professional has passed the second level of verification: we checked the business in the registers, or a staff member compared their details with a document.
It’s the second of two levels. Verification is a level, not a condition for working, so professionals at both levels can submit offers.
Level 1: “Identity not checked”
The professional has given their first name and surname, address, a phone number confirmed with an SMS code, a confirmed e-mail, work categories and area of operation. Access is automatic. At this level they don’t receive urgent jobs and can have at most 2 ongoing contracts at a time.
Level 2: “Identity confirmed”
- an entrepreneur has given their NIP (tax ID), and we checked it in public registers (CEIDG or KRS, REGON, the VAT taxpayer list);
- a private person has confirmed their identity with a document, and our staff member compared the details;
- in both cases the professional has added a clear photo of their face, visible in the profile.
Level 2 is granted by a human. We don’t compare the face in the photo with the document automatically.
What you won’t see
The professional’s documents or verification data. You see labels. Confirmed qualifications (e.g. UDT, F-gas) only say that the entry exists in the register. They say nothing about the quality of the work.
