How do I cancel a job?
In short Until you have chosen someone, you cancel the job with no consequences. After the choice, you cancel the contract with the professional: in full or for part of the work.
You haven’t chosen anyone yet
You cancel the whole job and that’s it. You pay nothing and nothing is recorded against your account. Professionals who sent offers get a notification.
A professional is already chosen
Then you cancel the contract with that professional, in full or for part of the work. The professional can do the same from their side.
- Choose a reason from the list. For “Other”, add a few words.
- Confirm that this professional has not done the work and will not do it.
The professional sees the reason from the list. They never see your comment.
Watch the minimum call-out: if cancelling part of the work takes the amount below 300 zł, the whole contract is cancelled.
What happens to the work
Cancelled work goes back into the same job. Other professionals can see it again and their current offers become valid again, so you don’t start from scratch. If less than a day of the publication period is left, we extend it.
Cancelling for a reason on your side (“my plans changed”) counts as a minor violation. A single cancellation restricts nothing; how we count violations is explained in Appendix 5.
