There’s more work on site than expected. What now?
In short Propose a change of scope on the platform. The client accepts or rejects it, and without their consent the price stays as in your offer.
Propose a change of scope on the platform. The client accepts or rejects it. Without their consent the price doesn’t change, even if there’s clearly more work.
The client agreed
- An accepted change isn’t a violation.
- On work added on site you pay commission of 10% of its amount.
The client said no
Rejecting a proposal isn’t a violation on either side. The contract stays at its current scope and price.
There’s less work
You propose the change on the platform in the same way. Part of the commission is returned in proportion to the drop in the amount, and reducing the work never raises the commission. The contract amount won’t go below 300 zł, though.
Where it becomes a problem
A one-off proposal is normal. If frequent proposals to raise the price above your offer form a pattern, a staff member may treat that as a violation. Easier to ask for details before you send the offer: a question about a job opens a conversation with the client too.
